Learn how to use and care for knives properly, on a cookery course in Birmingham
Starting with the basics of choosing the right knife for the right task, and keeping your knives in peak condition, expert cook Lap-fai Lee will guide you through some fantastic recipes that will enable you to learn all the essential knife skills – from deboning a chicken leg for Karaage Japanese fried Chicken, chopping an onion in double-quick time, cutting lots of vegetables to make an amazing salsa, slaw and stir-fry.
Throughout the evening we’ll taste the fruits of our labour.
The hands-on workshop lasts three hours (including eating time) and will end with a knife sharpening demonstration using a whetstone and a chance to sharpen your own knives and ask all knife related questions!
Please feel free to bring your own knives.
